The representative of Genmu is a famous noble in Siltvelt, who has retired from years of service. His real name is never mentioned and is mostly referred to by his race, Genmu. He is a representative of the Genmu race.
Appearance[]
Human Form[]
He is a plump, middle-aged man that looks to be around 60. He uses a cane for support.
Beast Form[]
He is a giant turtle with the tail of a snake. He always assumes this form in order to protect himself.
Personality[]
He's of the moderate faction, and he's famous for objecting to relying solely on the Shield Hero.
Background[]
The Genmu are one of the four elite races of the demi-humans of Siltvelt. However, unlike the other races, they are often more reserved and slow to action. After the Hakuko were devastated from the war with Melromarc, the Genmu (along with the Hakuko and Shusasku) gained more power.
This genmu representative speaks for the genmu race and is noted to be among the top two most influential people in Siltvelt.
The genmu representative noted that he had a very shy grand-daughter who could be helpful at times.[1]
Chronology[]
The Rising of the Shield Hero[]
Volume 13[]
While many with the Siltvelt leadership were trying to take Naofumi as a political tool to bolster their religion and national strength, The Genmu Representative was the first of the leadership to defend the Shield Hero and his party. He praised Atla for having a "true" Siltveltian spirit and chastised Jaralis for failing to remember the purpose of Siltvelt - to serve the Shield Hero. While the genmu could not fight physically, he fought very well with his words and influence.
The Reprise of the Spear Hero[]
Volume 2[]
Naofumi is ambushed in the bath by a horde of women who want to have children with him. Naofumi barely escapes and is chased by the women. While Werner did nothing to help, the genmu representative stopped the women and turned them away. He then warned Naofumi of the influence tied with being the Shield Hero and offered his assistance.
Relationships[]
Information to be added later on.
Trivia[]
